Insomnia

I have been struggling to sleep for months and with the help of Joelle I am finally able to fall asleep easily and have good quality sleep as well which is such a blessing.  We did all our sessions online which was really convenient as I am a really busy person so this saved me travel time.
Joelle has a lovely way about her and is really patient and understanding. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Sports Performance and Anxiety

I started seeing Joelle for anxiety based issues. After a few weeks work I was able to identify some underlying triggers which I hadn’t really considered before. After a lengthy session specifically geared towards previous trauma, I was able to not only put myself into a situation facing the triggers head on, but I was able to perform my sport to a high-level and have fun doing it. I previously thought I wasn’t “good enough” but this wasn’t the case at all. Joelle has helped me see that I am good enough and also acknowledged my abilities without self- deprecation. My anxiety is reducing, and my self belief is increasing – my sessions are ongoing, and I am seeing positive results in my day to day life as well as in specific situations – I would highly recommend Joelle

Arachnophobia

Joelle treated me for anxiety and a spider phobia. She is a true professional and knowledgeable. She listened to my requirements and made me feel relaxed and calm through my hypnotherapy experience.

Stress

I recently completed a hypnotherapy course with Joelle and have found a marked difference in my ability to stay calm and to deal with stress which was my goal. She is compassionate and warm and I felt able to open up to her straight away. The sessions are tailored around your individual concerns and desired outcomes. I particularly valued the guided meditation recording so that I could continue the practice myself in between sessions.

Anxiety and Depression

I approached Joelle to help with some anxiety and depression issues that I had. We did a consultation firstly then she provided me with a guided relaxation MP3. I used this at bedtime each night. I found listening to this a wonderful way to unwind at the end of a busy day and over a period of time I could tell that my symptoms of tiredness and anxiety were easing. Following this I did weekly sessions over zoom. These were really great and I always came away feeling more empowered and in control. Over time I have found that I am definitely more positive about life. Hypnotherapy is definitely something I would recommend for anyone suffering with anxiety. I have found it very effective and Joelle is such a warm and professional therapist to go to.

Emetophobia

Hypnotherapy is something I never knew much about however I reached a desperate point where I would try anything to help me, so I decided to go in with an open mind. I felt instantly relaxed and comfortable during my first session with Joelle. She took time to get to know me and understand my emetophobia and how it has affected my life since I was a child. Over the last few years the phobia has been debilitating and controlled so many elements of my life. I have had just 4 sessions so far and Joelle has changed my life. I have noticed my daily anxiety reduce. I am doing more things with ease which I haven’t done in a long time and I am living in the moment more. I no longer worry as much and just can let go and enjoy my life more. Each time I finish a session I feel this deep relaxation that I’ve never experienced before and can feel the weight and pressure resting on my shoulders for years being lifted each time. I completed 15 sessions of CBT prior to this and it did not help with my phobia or anxiety. The short space of time I have spent with Joelle has had such a positive impact on my life. If your reading this and unsure please give it a try you have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Stress and Insomnia

I went to see Joelle for stress and insomnia as I was recommended by a friend. Joelle practices solution focused hypnotherapy and I found this goal orientated type therapy really effective. Each session I was able to put certain goals in place and focus on my desired future. I found the sessions very soothing and relaxing would highly recommend.

Anxiety

I was struggling to even complete a days work or to go shopping or attend social events as my anxiety was crippling. I had never had hypnotherapy before and was sceptical at first. The initial consultation that I had with Joelle was really informative. We were able to do this on zoom in the comfort of my own house. Joelle gave me a detailed explanation of the brain. From session one I left with a lovely feeling of relaxation and calmness. After finishing my treatment plan with Joelle I felt like a different person and could go back to enjoying normal activities again. I cannot recommend Joelle enough and have been recommending her to all my friends and family.

Anxiety and Insomnia

On the lead up to an interview I suffered with anxiety and was struggling to sleep. My sessions with Joelle helped me to understand how the mind works and why I was anxious. Confidence and problem solving

I contacted Joelle as she had been recommended to me by a friend. Instantly I felt at ease and her enthusiasm to help me gave me great confidence. She didn’t judge me on my issue, just helped me to find a way to solve my problem. We did everything on line and I was really impressed how easy she made it. I was given an explanation on why I was feeling like I do and she also made me a guided relaxation recording to listen to each evening.
Not only has my problem lessened dramatically, I am also sleeping so much better and feel so much more confident.
