Work Related Stress
I completed a couple of sessions with Joelle to help me overcome the stresses of my job which were increasing my anxiety. When Joelle talked me through various anxiety reducing exercises and really helped me to understand the workings of the mind. Insomnia
I have had problems with falling asleep waking up too early and not getting back to sleep. In the consultation Joelle gave me a really useful explanation of how the brain works in relation to stress anxiety and insomnia. She also gave me a relaxation MP3 to listen to at bedtime. This was particularly valuable as I’ve had longer and more restful nights thanks to her lovely calming voice and peaceful narrative. I highly recommend sessions with Joelle if you are struggling with your sleep
Smoking
I came to see Joelle to help me stop smoking. I have tried so many times in the past and always started again. I had one session online with Joelle and haven’t smoked since. Amaxophobia (Fear of Driving)
I saw Joelle as I really wanted to overcome my fear of driving on the motorway. The consultation was really helpful for me to understand how the brain works. Sessions with Joelle were held over zoom. My treatment plan was short and effective. I only needed 4 sessions in total to overcome my fear. Joelle used some really effective NLP techniques with me and I found the sessions so relaxing. Each session really helped bring my anxiety down and enable me to get more control over my fear response. Although I still don’t particularly enjoy driving, I am able to drive on the motorway without that pure sense of panic and feel so much calmer and confident.
